CONCEPT OVERVIEW :-
A new scheme for creating rural electricity infrastructure and completing household electrification named as “Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana – Scheme of Rural Electricity Infrastructure and Household Electrification†was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Sing.
The scheme provides for free of cost connection to all rural households living below poverty line. Further, there will no discrimination in the hours of supply between rural and urban areas. The scheme also lays special emphasis on sustainability of ruralsupply through collection of the cost of electricity from the beneficiaries.
The Central Government has also offered the project implementationand management expertise of its Central Power Sector Undertakings like NTPC, NHPC, PGCIL and DVC to the States who are willing to make use of these services for ensuring timely completion of the project in this scheme.
BPL kit is among the final task of this programe where every household is provided a free power connection along with a CFL and a static metre. All the electrical material used for manufacturing these kits are ISI marked to ensure quality of the material.
Details:
There are various size and design for BPL kits. Its is assembled on wooden, Polycarbonate, SMC or FRP boards. Bpl kits are designed by power transmission companies. Fabricated from the premium quality raw material, these kits offer high performance, resistant to heat & temperature and are highly durable. Quality tested, these kits are also available in customized options to the clients we understand that every electricity board has different set of technical drawings.
